Where I learned to fly, and will soon be teaching. My first time at the controls was departing runway 22 with my family watching. I had been on many flights before, but only in the back of the plane wishing I was up front. I was convinced that flying was for me as soon as the nose wheel lifted off the ground on the Cessna 152 N5443l. Little did I know I would later take my private pilot check ride in this plane.
